After their opening initially planned in August has been postponed, gaming establishments in Kahnawake got the green light to reopen gradually on September 4, announced the COVID-19 Task Force.  

Playground Poker and Magic Palace have submitted health and safety plans, which have been approved. The establishments will operate from 9 A.M. to 4 A.M.

The openings must be done under certain conditions:

-Maximum of 50 clients at the opening on September 4 with a planned increase that will reach 200 clients by the end of the month;

-Reservations required;

-All machines must be separated by two metres (six feet) or by impermeable barriers;

-Mandatory masks;

-Mandatory health checks for clients and employees;

-Regular sanitization of machines;

-No alcohol or food services in the gaming areas;

-No smoking;

-No valet of coat check.
