Some vehicles from the City of Chateauguay and several other municipalities from the region, as well as Kahnawake, paraded in front of the Anna Laberge Hospital on Monday, April 6 to pay homage to the employees of the first responder health network against the COVID-19.

The vibrant procession lasted close to 13 minutes. Its live broadcast on the Chateauguay Soleil Facebook account poured shouts of “I adore” and tens of bravos. The video was shown 18,000 times in one hour. Over 300 people signified their appreciation for the health staff in their commentaries.
Similar actions took place in several regions. “It was the most beautiful parade in Canada,” remarked Chateauguay Mayor Pierre-Paul Routhier, posted at the entrance of the establishment where the cortege passed in a concert of sirens and automobile horns.
