Sainte-Martine : correction work on Route 138 curve

Work to correct the curve on the rural section of Route 138 in Sainte-Martine, near the Mercier municipal boundary, began on October 15 and will continue for two weeks.

According to the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable (MTMD), traffic will alternate with traffic lights at all times during the work.

This project is part of a series of measures to improve safety on the Route 138 corridor between Mercier and Sainte-Martine,” the MTMD explained. Eventually, the correction of the road's inclination in this curve will improve vehicle stability and reduce the risk of loss of control during turning maneuvers.”
