En difficultés financières, l’entreprise s’est placée sous la protection de la Loi sur les arrangements avec les créanciers et a tenté une restructuration. «Malheureusement, la démarche n’a pas réussi et Sauvé cesse ses activités immédiatement», indique Collin Thomas, directeur de l’école, dans une lettre destinée aux parents publiée le 13 février sur le compte Facebook de l’établissement. Celui-ci est à la recherche d’un autre fournisseur. Sauvé aidera à effectuer la transition avec la nouvelle entreprise lorsque celle-ci sera trouvée, fait part le directeur. Il précise que l’école tient toujours à l’uniforme «pour l’égalité, la sécurité et le professionnalisme que celui-ci procure».

The Sauve company where pupils from Howard S Billings High School in Chateauguay were supposed to purchase their school uniforms for the past few years has gone bankrupt.
