Châteauguay : some twenty streets to get a facelift

In May, the City of Châteauguay awarded two contracts for pavement resurfacing on eleven streets this year, and for maintenance work on eight additional streets.

A total of $3.4 million will be spent on pavement repairs on the following streets : 

Pine, between Dupont and Robert Est

Mountain, between Trudeau and Hamilton Streets

Colville, between Drouin and Cardinal Streets

Woodbine, between Montmorency and Saint-Francis Blvd

Lauzon, between Maxi supermarket and Poirier Street

Croissant du barrage

Chopin, between Haendel and Paganini

Fréchette

Greening

Wilbrod, between St-Maurice and Dollard

Colpron, between Lamartine and Deguire

Eurovia Québec Construction was awarded the contract. It was the lowest bidder out of five companies.

The city also awarded a $392,669 contract to Les Pavages Ultra for maintenance work and crack sealing on various streets. The selected streets are: 

Sutterlin, between Bourdon and de Bienville,

Turenne, between Poirier and Nobel

Kennedy, between De Gaulle et door number 316

Rameau, between Saint-Jean-Baptiste and Mozart

Letendre, between Girouard and Garand,

Gauthier, between Boivin and Provost

Dubois, near the St-Joseph intersection

Salaberry Nord, between Joseph and Beauregard
