Centre culturel musulman de Châteauguay: three people injured in altercation

A 24-year-old man entered the Centre culturel musulman de Châteauguay with a knife in the early afternoon. An altercation ensued with two people already on the premises.

The Châteauguay Police Department was called around 1:40 pm. The man was arrested on the spot and is currently being interviewed by police, reports Nadia Grondin of the Châteauguay Police Department.

Three men suffered minor, non-life-threatening injuries. One was taken to hospital, according to police.
