Building Fire in Châteauguay : Man Succumbs to Injuries

A man in his seventies, who suffered serious burns and was in critical condition following a fire in a two-storey residential building on boulevard Salaberry Nord in Châteauguay, has succumbed to his injuries, the Châteauguay Police Service has learned.

The man, who suffered burns, was taken to the hospital by ambulance, according to the Coopérative des techniciens ambulanciers de la Montérégie.

The cause of the fire remains undetermined.
