Billings hockey players’ Guignolee results

Some players from the peewee, bantam and juvenile levels of the Howard S. Billings High School hockey program gave of their time at the Guignolee held on December 1. With some of their parents, they participated in the sorting of foodstuffs at the St. Marguerite de Youville Church. This initiative was born thanks to bantam Blazers team representative Tara Lavallee. ‘’I organized it for the teams in an effort for them to give back to our community and truly have a sense of what it’s like to be a part of something bigger than hockey’’ she explained.  Her goal was reached, because the students then committed themselves to participate in it for the coming years.
