According to a press release, the floor, ceiling, plumbing and counter surfaces have been revamped. There are a total of eight private rooms.

During the pandemic, temporary walls were built. These have been replaced by permanent walls with several windows and glass doors so that light can enter. There are also washbasins nearby to help prevent infection.

“The renovations provide a brighter and more advantageous workplace for both our caregivers and users,” said Bernard Cyr, Assistant Director General of General and Specialized Physical Health Programs.

This work is the result of a $500,000 investment by the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de la Montérégie-Ouest (CISSSMO), according to communications advisor Véronique Blais.
