Chateauguay MNA MarieChantal Chassé is granting the sum of $50, 157 to the City of Chateauguay to improve its municipal road system.

“I am happy to contribute to the improvement of the municipal (roads) network of the region,” Chasse commented in a communique. “These amounts help the municipalities without adding to the financial burden of the municipal taxpayers. The grant will contribute to the road repair works on Scott Street.”

This sum announced last July comes in part from the $25,157 of a discretionary envelope from the MNA in the context of the particular projects improvement program by an electoral riding (PPA-CE). The other $25,000 has been drawn from ministerial envelope linked to the program of particular projects improvement from the municipal span or supra (PPA-ES).

This program has contributed to prolonging St-Charles range in Mercier in the past, the Chateauguay MNA emphasizes.
