In connection with the incident at the La Chope restaurant bar in Châteauguay, the suspect, a 31-year-old man, contacted the Châteauguay police department. The Châteauguay invesgators arrested him in collaboration with the SPVM. He will be interrogated by investigators in the next few hours.
The victim remains in critical condition.
