(English follows) La députée de Châteauguay-Lacolle, Brenda Shanahan, a annoncé le retour du Programme Nouveaux Horizons pour les aînés (PHNA).
Elle invite les organismes, municipalités, institutions de santé et établissements scolaires à déposer une demande de financement d’ici le 15 juin. «Les demandeurs pourraient obtenir une subvention atteignant 25 000 $ afin de réaliser un projet pour et par les aînés», fait-elle part dans un communiqué.
« Les projets financés dans le cadre du PNHA favorisent le bénévolat, le mentorat et le leadership communautaire chez nos aînés en les gardant actifs et engagés dans notre région», mentionne Brenda Shanahan.

Chateauguay-Lacolle MP Brenda Shanahan has announced the return of the New Horizons Program for the elderly (PHNA).
Shanahan is inviting community groups, municipalities, health institutions and school establishments to deposit a request for financing between now and June 15. ‘’Applicants could receive up to $25,000 in grant money to implement a project for and by seniors,’’ she let it be known in a press release.
‘’NHSP-funded projects promote volunteerism, mentorship and community leadership among our seniors by keeping them active and engaged in our region. I invite all eligible organizations in Chateauguay-Lacolle to apply for funding under the NHSP,’’ Shanahan mentioned.
