“A new legislative arrangement permits police agents to give portable tickets for infractions committed on the territory. The fine anticipates reaching as high as $1,546 for an adult and $560 for a minor,” specifies the Chateauguay police department in a communique. It emphasizes, however, “the sustained efforts by the entire population.”
