(English follows) Après avoir convaincu le fabriquant de barres de céréales Yourbarfactory d’installer sa nouvelle usine dans le parc industriel de Châteauguay, la Ville courtise maintenant les employés de l’entreprise.
Dans le cadre de sa journée familiale, qui s’est déroulée le 17 septembre sur l’île Saint-Bernard, un kiosque a été installé pour informer les quelque 150 personnes qui participaient à l’événement des avantages à venir s’établir à Châteauguay. «Leur réponse a été encourageante et positive. Les employés affichant une réelle ouverture à l’idée de s’implanter à Châteauguay », rapporte la Ville dans un communiqué.
L’usine de Yourbarfactory, actuellement basée à LaSalle, devrait déménager dans la nouvelle usine de Châteauguay vers la fin décembre 2018. Le bâtiment de 80 000p2 qui accueillera les opérations est toujours en chantier au 160, rue Bélanger dans le parc industriel. L’entreprise compte 75 employés et envisage de créer environ 25 nouveaux postes dans les prochaines années.
City seeks new residents
After having convinced the cereal bars manufacturer called Yourbarfactory to install its new factory in Chateauguay’s Industrial Park, the City is now courting the enterprise’s employees. In the context of its family day, which unfolded on September 17 on Ile St. Bernard, a kiosk was installed to inform the estimated 150 people who participated in the event the advantages of coming to establish themselves in Chateauguay. ‘’Their response has been encouraging and positive. The building of 80,000 square feet which will receive the operations is still under construction at 160 Belanger street in the Industrial Park.
