(English follows). Le Service centralisé d’appels d’urgence (SCAU) 9-1-1 de Châteauguay, qui dessert les citoyens de la ville du même nom, mais également ceux de Beauharnois, Léry et Saint-Isidore, a satisfait aux exigences du ministère de la Sécurité publique.
Celui-ci lui a remis un certificat de conformité le 11 décembre. Depuis 2012, les centres d’appels 9-1-1 ont l’obligation, à tous les deux ans, de se soumettre à des vérifications pour s’assurer qu’ils répondent aux exigences de la Loi sur la sécurité civile et au Règlement sur les normes, les spécifications et les critères de qualité applicables aux centres d’urgence 9-1-1. Cette certification est indispensable à la poursuite des opérations.
Certificate renewed for Chateauguay 911 head office
The Centralized Chateauguay 911 Emergency Calls Service (SCAU), which serves the citizens of Chateauguay, Beauharnois, Lery and St. Isidore, has satisfied the demands of the Public Security Ministry.
The latter issued the SCAU a certificate of conformity on December 11. Since 2012, the 911 call centres have had the obligation, every two years, to submit to some verifications to assure that they respond to the requirements of the Law on Civil Security and to the Bylaw on the norms, specifications and quality criteria applicable to the 911 emergency centres. This certification is indispensable to the pursuit of operations.
